The Sr. Citrix Engineer will be responsible for the support and maintenance of the firm's Citrix application service environment and serves as intermediary between the System Engineering and application Support groups on Citrix-related issues.
Education: Four years of college coursework in data processing, computer science, mathematics, management information systems, or related fields of study; or an equivalent combination of experience and training. Two plus years experience in a medium to large law firm is preferred.
Skill Requirements:
Extensive knowledge of Citrix XenApp Application Server technologies, Citrix Access Gateway appliances, and Windows Terminal Services.
Intermediate level experience with application installation techniques such as MSI packages and scripting.
Expert level experience with Windows operating systems, including Windows XP; some experience with Windows 7 and/or Linux preferred.
Citrix CCEA/CCEE certification or equivalent experience is required; a Microsoft server certification (MCITP/MCSE/MCTS) is preferred.
Intermediate level experience with Microsoft Office is required; experience supporting, configuring or installing Office with associated add-ons in a legal environment is preferred.
Knowledge of TCP/IP networking concepts is required. Network+ or Cisco certification preferred.
Some experience with application virtualization is preferred.
Expert level analytical skills, excellent oral and written communication skills, and a highly service-oriented and collaborative attitude.
