Position Description:


The Senior Director of Human Resources serves as a critical member of the company’s senior management team leading and directing all HR functions for a growing publically traded company.  This is a highly strategic role with generalist responsibility for recruiting, organizational planning and development, training, compensation, and benefits. This role will manage labor relations in a union environment and conduct negotiations with a collective bargaining unit.

Primary Requirements:



  • Progressive human resource experience holding positions of increasing levels of responsibility.

  • Proven success in generalist role possessing exceptional knowledge of recruiting, organizational planning, labor relations, training, compensation, and benefits.

  • Hands-on leader capable of leading a large scale and diverse organization.

  • Excellent communication skills with ability to express and communicate ideas laterally and vertically.

  • Four-year undergraduate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; MBA preferred.
