We have an immediate need for an SR CONTRACT ADMINISTRATORS.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

CDI Government Services

SENIOR CONTRACT ADMINISTRATOR

JOB DUTIES:

Assignment: Journeyman level position with limited supervision. Prepares, negotiates, awards and administers complex, multimillion dollar procurement packages for supplies and services. Able to incorporate all user requirements into a procurable solicitation that will result in a sound and compliant contract. Must be able to manage formal source selection process and negotiate technical and cost issues as part of the award process.

Post award activities include monitoring contractor performance against contract requirements. Must be able to address contract interpretation issues and render sound determinations within assigned authority.

Must manage directed change order process and contractor identified changed conditions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Bachelors degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or Engineering preferred; or equivalent work experience; CPM certificate a plus.

Experience: 10+ years experience in construction and/or demolition procurements or 20 years experience if no degree; at least 5 years of Federal government-related procurement experience; skilled in computer usage and procurement systems; knowledge of Federal Acquisition

Regulations and Department of Energy Acquisition Regulations; familiarity with best value purchasing and Federal Travel Regulations; experience with Federal government socioeconomic programs (i.e. 8A, Hubzone); prior procurement experience with a DOE M&O Contractor preferred.

Work Hours:

This is a contract job with a possibility of going direct. There is a per diem paid for those who qualify.

A 40 hour work week is scheduled. SRNS utilizes various work schedules; including 5/8s (8 hours/day; five days per week), 4/10s (10 hours/day; four days per week), and a 9/80s.

Work week normally excludes SRNS holidays. Each work day has a 30-minute non-paid lunch.

Area Security Access: A security clearance is not required
