Description Charlotte Russe is looking for a talented and driven Production and Trims Coordinator with experience in the apparel industry to join our dynamic Import team! Our Import department continues to provide a timely delivery of Product Development and Production services while working with vendors to maintain our low price point and high quality standards.The Production and Trims Coordinator manages day-to-day pre-production and production of import jewelry, and assists in administrative duties to support the Import Production department purchase order management process. Responsibilities also include: - Manage the work in progress (WIP) and time and action (T&A) calendars for all jewelry production
- Create target costs for developments and negotiate costs for adopted styles
- Review production and offer samples with the jewelry buyer
- Communicate sample comments to overseas jewelry factories
- Send trend direction and developments to jewelry factories
- Pass off all necessary delivery and development information to the jewelry buyers in a timely manner
- Manage the vendor relationships for all jewelry vendors
- Communicate all PO changes to the logistics team
- Meet with jewelry vendors for face-to-face negotiations during vendors visits
Assist in the Product Development process: - Coordinate with the production coordinators to help with development projects.
- Assist in taking pictures, sending samples to factories, creating product development sheets, creating development tracking sheets and sending samples to agents.
- Working with Fashion and Trend to coordinate seasonal color cards, trend alerts and market reviews for our vendors.
Assists the Production team in all clerical duties in managing the production process including but not limited to: - Prepare fit samples for daily fit sessions.
- Purchase order management: Scan / fax purchase orders, make copies, help with order revisions, assist in maintaining orders when necessary. Email agents and factories when necessary.
- Assisting in the production process when required, help with communication to agents on materials, trims, lab dips, and fabrics approvals.
- Send TOP approval letters for import orders.
- Sort and organize development samples for buyers review.
- Assist during vendor meetings, organizing samples, taking pictures and printing our copies of styles and orders for buyers and agents.
- Logistics liaison, reviewing weekly in transit reports and review with team each week to ensure deliveries are being met.
- Sample Management - PP samples / marketing samples / reference samples.
Requirements are: - 2+ yr(s) production experience in the apparel industry
- Strong knowledge of product development.
- Vendor management experience
- Understand cost and product negotiation
- Ability to multitask and prioritze tasks
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong Microsoft Suite
