We have an immediate need for an experienced candidate to provide Call Center - Phone Support - Help Desk Technician.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

CDI Government Services has a need for a Help Desk Support Technician to provide support via the phone. CDI does offer benefits including medical, holiday and vacation pay.

The candidate chosen will provide first call support to a large community of PC and Macintosh users via the phone. We need someone with ability to independently resolve unique problems using current job knowledge and using research and external resources.

We are looking for the person who really enjoys helping people with their computer problems, who is knowledgeable to do this via the phone.

Required Skills:

* BS degree in IT or equivalent years of professional experience plus 2-5 years of relevant work experience.

* Prior Call Center experience, very articulate, and is able to be understood easily by callers.

* Customer Service oriented a must!

* Knowledge of Active Directory for resetting passwords, joining systems to a domain.

* Ability to interface well with all levels of staff.

* Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems for users via the telephone using remote management tools.

* Strong systems-level skills in Windows/Intel desktop technology.

* Experience providing support for problems with Hardware (desktops, laptops and printers), software (Windows 2000, Windows XP and Microsoft Office) and networking.

* Experience and desire to work in a team-oriented environment.

* Capable of making difficult decisions after acquiring adequate input.

* Technical training on Windows based systems.

Note:

* Must be authorized to work in the U.S. WITHOUT requiring VISA SPONSORSHIP.

* Must be able to pass pre-employment Background and Drug Screening.
