3>BA/BS req.;D/L req.; 1 to 2 yrs MR/DD/MH exp.; help develop behavior plans

Responsibilities:

The YAI Network has an immediate openings for Asst Applied Behavioral Science Specialists to work in our Queens Residential Group Homes. Work with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a residential group home. Teach daily living activities to a caseload of individuals, provide individual and group counseling, promote community integration, and serve as a member of a team while advocating for each individuals needs. In addition, Asst Applied Behavioral Science Specialists assist in the development and implementation of treatment and behavioral goals for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Provide staff training, perform assessments, and work closely with the Applied Behavioral Science Specialist (ABSS). Some positions may include extensive family work.

Requirements:

* BA / BS required in psychology / counseling or related field; MA / MS a plus

* Minimum of 1 to 2 years related MR/DD or MH experience

* New York State Driver's License required

* Tuesday - Friday 2:00PM-10:00PM; Saturday day hours

* Some flexibility required
